Doha Academy Schools Celebrate 25 Years of Excellence

This year marks a momentous milestone in Doha Academy’s journey — a quarter-century of delivering “Education for Life.” Since its inception in 2000, the Academy has flourished from a single school into an esteemed network of institutions shaping young minds with academic excellence and Islamic values.

A Legacy of Holistic Education

Founded and chaired by Dr. Sheikha Aisha bint Faleh bin Nasser Al Thani, a distinguished leader in Qatari education, Doha Academy blends the British national curriculum with robust Islamic teaching, nurturing students who are both globally capable and firmly rooted in faith.

From its humble beginnings, the Academy has expanded to serve approximately 2,000 students representing more than 55 nationalities, spanning KG through Year 12 (or Year 13) across its Al Waab, Salwa branches, and the Doha International Kindergarten.

Accreditation & Academic Distinction

Doha Academy Schools are proudly accredited by both the Qatar National School Accreditation (QNSA) and the New England Association of Schools & Colleges (NEASC) through the prestigious ACE Learning pathway — an assurance of quality in learning, governance, staffing, and facilities.

The Doha International Kindergarten has also achieved international recognition, meeting high global standards and affirming the Academy’s reputation as one of Qatar’s leading educational institutions.

Year after year, Doha Academy students achieve outstanding results in IGCSE and A-Levels, with many ranking among the top performers worldwide in subjects such as Arabic, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.

Innovative Learning for Every Student

Doha Academy’s model emphasizes personalized learning and early recognition of potential:

• Academically strong students are encouraged to take IGCSEs early, while differentiated pathways ensure every learner’s strengths are recognized.

• With a strong culture of ongoing assessment and progress tracking, the Academy has consistently improved student achievement, showing a remarkable rise in top grades in recent years.

A Vision Anchored in Values

At its heart, Doha Academy is more than just a school — it is a community with a mission. Students are encouraged to flourish spiritually, morally, socially, intellectually, and physically. Parents can feel confident that their children are not only prepared for academic success, but also nurtured to grow into well-rounded, principled individuals.
